Hi, I’m Deborah Medari, DNP.

I’m an integrative psychiatric nurse practitioner and wellness coach who believes true healing happens when we address the mind, body, and spirit—inviting the Holy Spirit into the process every step of the way.

My journey into coaching began through years of ministry, motherhood, and personal healing. I first trained as a marriage and family therapist, then became a psychiatric nurse practitioner because I saw how deeply biology, trauma, and faith all intersect in mental health. I’ve experienced loss and am a survivor of trauma myself, which gives me deep compassion for those carrying unseen burdens. After witnessing stigma in both the church and the medical world, I felt called to create a space where Christians could receive compassionate, evidence-based mental health coaching without having to separate their faith from their healing.

Do you…

  •  Feel like you’ve tried everything—prayer, scripture, even therapy—but still struggle with anxiety, depression, or emotional overwhelm?

  • Wonder why the fruit of the Spirit feels out of reach, no matter how hard you try?

  •  Carry invisible burdens while leading, caregiving, or holding your family together—and feel like no one really sees you?

You’re not alone. And you don’t have to keep doing this on your own.

I Believe…

  • I believe that true healing and transformation come from the Holy Spirit. He sees what’s really going on beneath the surface—beyond words, beyond circumstances—and He alone knows the depths of every heart. I trust that when I ask God for wisdom, He will give it, just as He promised.

  • I believe it is God’s will for every believer to walk in the victory that has already been won for them. But I also recognize that we have a spiritual enemy who actively works to keep us discouraged, bound, and broken.

  • I believe that God works in many waysthrough His Word, through the support of others, and through the wisdom He gives us for daily life. While struggles may show up in our thoughts, emotions, or even our bodies, I believe they also carry spiritual dimensions that are just as important to address.

True transformation is most powerful when the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—is cared for together. That’s why my coaching approach blends evidence-informed strategies with prayer, biblical truth, and Spirit-led guidance—always aligned with each client’s faith and values.

While coaching can benefit anyone, I specialize in supporting women and leaders who are navigating unique challenges in life, faith, and calling. My role is to provide a confidential, Spirit-led space where you can process honestly, gain clarity, and rediscover hope without pressure or judgment.

Ministry Leaders, Pastors, Clergy

You’re called to carry the burdens of others—but who carries yours? Behind the sermons, the counseling, and the leadership, there’s often exhaustion, anxiety, and a deep sense of isolation. You may feel pressure to “hold it all together,” even while struggling privately with depression, burnout, or trauma. It’s hard to admit you're not okay when people look to you for spiritual strength. I provide a confidential, grace-filled space where you can be human—no pressure, no judgment. You don’t have to suffer silently. You deserve support, too.

Individuals in Crisis of Faith

You may feel disconnected from God, uncertain of His presence, or unsure what you believe. Perhaps you’ve prayed for change and feel ashamed that you’re still struggling. Maybe you’ve stepped away from church but something in you is still searching. Wrestling with doubt, disappointment, or spiritual disillusionment doesn’t make you a “bad Christian”—it makes you human. I provide a safe place to process your faith journey honestly, with curiosity, compassion, and without the pressure to have it all figured out.

Caregivers

You spend your days giving to others—children, aging parents, spouses, congregants—but when was the last time someone cared for you? Caregiving often brings burnout, guilt, and emotional depletion. You may feel invisible, spiritually drained, or unsure of who you are outside of your role. Together, we’ll focus on restoring your emotional and spiritual well-being, setting boundaries without shame, and rediscovering your own God-given identity You deserve care, too.

Survivors of Abuse

The wounds of abuse can run deep, affecting how you see yourself, others, and even God. Trust may feel fragile—especially if the harm came from someone who claimed faith. You might wonder why healing feels so slow, or if you’ll ever feel whole again. In coaching, you set the pace. I offer a compassionate, faith-informed space where you can reclaim your story, rebuild your sense of safety, and rediscover the truth of who you are in Christ—free, loved, and deeply valued

Anxiety & Depression

You’ve prayed for peace. You’ve clung to joy. But the anxiety won’t let you rest, and the heaviness just won’t lift. I help Christian individuals uncover the biological, emotional, and spiritual roots of their depression and anxiety using a personalized plan that integrates spiritual coaching, therapy techniques, mind-body practices, nutrition, and—when appropriate—I may recommend and refer you out for medication.

Trauma & PTSD

Memories from the past may still feel raw, confusing, or intrusive. You’ve forgiven, but the pain remains. As a survivor myself, I approach trauma with deep compassion, blending faith-based counseling, nervous system regulation, and gentle, integrative tools to help you heal in both body and spirit.

How Coaching Works

I take a holistic, Spirit-led approach to mental health coaching—one that honors your faith, your story, and your whole person.
